Inambakan Falls is located in Ginatilan, 1 four-hour journey from Cebu City. It is famous for having a beautiful 100-ft waterfall that plunges into a wide pool of blue water and surrounded by lush jungle greenery.

 

Upon entering, there will be an entrance fee of Php50/person. The trail begins down to the main waterfall along the stairs. In 10 minutes, you will reach the main attraction, the main waterfall at Inambakan Falls. You badly need your adrenaline here because there will be 5 levels at Inambakan Falls.

On the 2nd level, you can found their small pool with another waterfall. Meanwhile, on the 3rd level, there is a crystal clear pool, deep enough for cliff jumping. Lastly, at the 5th level, there is a 4-meter cliff jump.

How to get there?

You need to ride a Toledo-bound bus at the Cebu South Bus Terminal. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Lutopan junction then once arrive, ride a habal-habal or motorcycle to Cantabaco and tell them to drop you off at the Silangan Chapel. Then, you can finally see the limestone cliff of Cantabaco.

A few steps from the road, you need to cross this rickety bamboo bridge that runs over a stream. Heads up, the bridge creaks and groans as you cross it but walk slowly and carefully. Once done, your rock climbing adventure starts now.

The cliff has five areas with an increasing level of difficulty as you move to the right. There are over 60 routes up the cliff that have been bolted, with the difficulty ranging from 5.8 to 5.14.

Foreigners and Local climbers sometimes prefer to stay for several days, which is why there are nearby apartments or rooms for rent in Cantabaco. Basic amenities include a toilet, a bathroom, a washing area, and an outdoor dining area.

This activity needs endurance, strength, and focus. If you don’t have those, this activity might be difficult for you.
