Entering the newest nature paradise in northern Cebu, you will be welcomed by palm trees and greeneries. There’s even an elegant walkway (with lights!) going to either the Kubo and outdoor pool. The outdoor landscape has a very generous space to give off a relaxing space to head if you solely want to rest.

Outside the palm hut, you have access to their bonfire and hammock where you can chill. Share stories with your barkada or loved ones, cook marshmallows, have a picnic, read a book, or just lie down!

 

Inside the Bahay-Kubo

 

Complimenting with the outdoor space of Areca Palm Hut, you will love the interior of their modern bahay-kubo. It’s a two-story house that has clean and complete amenities. The tiny first floor contains the sala, kitchen, and a little dining area if you choose to stay indoors. The design is a combination of greens, browns, and whites, giving off a modern touch of our culture.

 

Upstairs is a large one-bedroom floor which has a large window in front of the bed. Just imagine waking up fresh to nature’s view and end the day surrounded by greens. If you’re looking for something extra, you can order a massage to feel even more relaxed.

 

 

One of our favorites in this staycation is you get to have a floating breakfast for free! How cute is that?? The pool is perfect for morning or afternoon swim and you don’t even have to worry about the sun because the trees give the perfect shades.

There’s also a long table and bench for outside dining to have your lunch or dinner. Their outdoor space reminds us that simple living is the true luxury!
